Hobba loves hosting private events, parties and corporate events. Originally an old tire-fitting workshop, Richard Newling Ward抯 renovation allowed the space speak for itself while expressing the existing building. This creates a unique industrial feel and is the ideal venue for an event that is a little bit different.

Hobba offers different space options allowing you the flexibility to create the event you are looking for with a blank canvas. Flexible packages can be tailored to your needs, which can feature both smaller bite sized pieces and more substantial plated dishes.

We are excited by big flavors and honest food, using great local produce throughout the menu. Hobba works with the seasons to ensure we get the freshest produce, so as the seasons change so can our menu.

Our space can be broken up into three spaces. For seated dining, Hobba can sit from 10 to 50 guests in the back section or alternatively the back section is ideal for around 50 standing. If you are wishing to utilize the whole space we can seat up to 90 guests throughout the entire restaurant or 150 standing guests.

Set menus for seated dining are available, starting from $40 per head. Smaller bite sized canapés and substantial standing food menus start at $25 per head.

Beverages can be chosen from our list or a package can be created to suit your event, these start at $20 per head.

Bookings

We take bookings between 8 - 12 people Monday to Friday, we also take bookings for dinner Thursday - Saturday. If there are more than 12 people we consider this to be an event and a set menu will need to be organised.
